There are many wonderful tools out there that add amazing results in releasing stress from the body. Tools can be anything that supports or adds modifications to meet the needs of all body types. Tools can be blocks, straps, poles, balls, rollers, Hurley’s, Hedgehogs Balance Pods, to list a few.
Hedgehog Balance Pods are versatile tools in the Therapy world and incredibly durable. They can withstand the weight of a full-grown adult standing on them. Typically, these pods have been used to promote balance and play for children by walking on them, for physical therapy, or to add an additional component to exercise. Today, they are expanding into yoga studios and yoga therapy sessions. Here are some ways to incorporate them into your practice and help clients release tense muscles.
